Tracing Roots | 45 days Humanitarian Aid Volunteering Team (ESC)

Step into a hands-on humanitarian experience in Northern Thailand and work side by side with local communities. Makhampom Art Space is looking for 15 volunteers to join a Humanitarian Aid Volunteering Team in Chiang Dao, Thailand.

This 45-day experience brings together young people from across Europe to engage in community-based work focused on women empowerment, cultural preservation, and local resilience. Volunteers will take part in workshops, community activities, and practical tasks such as environmental and infrastructure support, while living in a shared rural setting.

Participants should be 18–35 years old, residents of an Erasmus+ programme country, and ready to engage in hands-on activities such as construction, agriculture, community workshops, and cultural exchange.

The project suits those comfortable with basic living conditions, open to teamwork, and motivated to take initiative in a community setting.

The project is built on collaboration with local communities, where volunteers contribute to real needs identified together with residents. Along the way, participants will also create outputs like a video, online diary, and advocacy content to share their experience and learning.
